Kinderdijk, a village in the Southern province of the Netherlands, is home for a number of iconic 18th-century windmills that are still used to control flood waters. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. This image is an HDR compilation of long exposures as a rain storm swept over the land.
